Boss Idea
i understand that in nod, mobs are raging out of control killing everything and therefore there are a ****load of mobs.
but with bosses, they are rare and 1 of a kind, and are there to nerd rage in return and attempt to pwn you.
now there would usually be 1 of a kind boss. and they are usually found in static locations or random wandering around.
my suggestion:
remove the static location and have them wander around randomly in that area.
BUT
as there would then only be 1 wandering boss, and it would require moving around in that area looking for it, which would be a bitch in higher lvled areas, have it have its own avatar that shows in the local section.
and also have it so that if 5 of us stumble onto that square, all 5 of us are fighting that 1 boss at the same time.
soo if i damage it for 9001, it shows that damage on everyones screen against the boss.
but in order for this to work, bosses would need more hp and they would be able to hit us all at once, if in single groups, current grouping way would still apply.
just an idea to make boss hunting an actual hunt, and something fun, instead of going to a pre-detirmened spot, and kill it and leave. thats not a hunt >.<
