Default Cap the bloodlet damage for PvE

Okay, firstly, let me reference this other board I created as another possible solution:

http://forums.nodiatis.com/forums/id...odlet-pve.html

Next, let me briefly explain the situation. Any mob higher than your level (mainly bosses) can reach an infinite amount of bloodlet if given enough time. This cripples low-dps teams for boss hunting.

My suggestion: Cap the bloodlet inflicted after berserk at around ~30 times the mob level. E.g., if the boss is level 100, he can only inflict a bloodlet of 3,000 max.

I will upload an image of the highest bloodlet I've seen to date, which is to say, after being hit by that sort of bloodlet, you WILL be dead. I don't care if you got 100 BILLION exp total, you will be dead if the bloodlet rises to 20,000.

You could just avoid getting hit altogether, thus avoiding regular and bloodlet damage. That way, bloodlets don't need a nerf.

On a serious note though, I agree with you, there needs to be some way to limit that damage.

For slow effects, use the slow % but as a negative.

Just repeat for multiple effects.

DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

are bloodlets on the mobs half of actual max dmg? or the half of the max dmg that they can do to you btw?

since max dmg done to you would mean they are effected by your ac

which would just mean stop fighting mobs 19 lvls above you

its half of their max. and as far as i know, your ac doesnt effect it, as they can still hit that max amount, it is just less likely to happen

I'll just add the one thing missing that I saw to this statement:

It's half of their max normal damage, assuming your AC is, I believe, x10 their lvl, as that gives them no bonuses nor penalties to damage. That's bloodlet amount.

Of course for normal damage you either add or subtracted based on whether your AC sucks or is awesome, but bloodlet stays the same to begin with.
