As I was getting grief from some "N" that it wasn't possible to solo the Water Elemental at level 6. It is very possible.
But pics to prove it might help.

Thanks.
I'm an adventurer by the way. Nothing like a +3% xp boost to help you make it through those tough battles!

@Random: Cool!
I have an adventurer in my buddies list. They're cool. However, I enjoy bows too much in RPGs...since about 5-7 years ago.
(I'm a ranger)

Adventurers are good in any class, that 3% xp bonus (even more with Class Enhancement and Level 20+ skill bonuses) will really help getting up all of your skills.

Indeed.
Of course, the Ranger's bonus to minimum damage isn't half bad either.

True, I think that is much better than the Archer's increase to max damage, although that may turn around at higher levels...

And also, a question for Random: You seem to be good at this game, but you are lacking an account upgrade, you going to be getting one?

The +3% I think helps with my passives and for the limited time I play in general.
Yes, I did have one high skill... white magic, which I got to level 8 to be able to use that damage reduction aura, and I got my slashing skill to level 7 so that I could hit a level 7 (elite) monster. I used the scorched longsword along with red Dots and white life regens to most efficiently use all of my energy and mana bars while doing max damage and healing max on a per point basis. Other than that, nothing special. I had about 1,800,000 xp at the time I killed the sucker. Almost all of my other skills were between level 5 and 6... and I did parry a few times and block a few times.
I'm curious whether an adventurer is really worse than a ranger as an archer. Seeing as the Adventurer gains xp more quickly.... does the Ranger bonus especially allow the ranger to kill 3% faster than the Adventurer? I'm not sure the min bonus is that effective at low levels.
As for getting a membership... currently it seems unlikely. There is nothing I need from membership. I don't have the time to play more than an hour a day, so the extra RT doesn't help. Runes aren't in the game yet, so an extra rune slot is pointless. I have no problems with my 4 gem slots so far, so the 5th gem slot doesn't seem to do much. You still have to pay more money to use any good items with virtues. AND using the AH only really seems to serve if I wanted to sink time into crafting (I don't have the time to spare) or if I was hard up for items (I've always been able to buy/equip everything my level would allow).
So, pretty much I don't need any advantage that membership offers.... plus I'm safe from pvp. If something that is of value to me is offered for money, I will happily pay.
By keeping my level low (I try to be 3 levels under the monsters I'm fighting) I gain trophies really, really fast... allowing me to keep every skill leveled and complete the quests quickly. Also, by keeping every skill leveled I can adjust my playstyle to the monsters attacks if need-be. It is all keyed off of white/energy for efficient heals and red/mana for dots.

I'm sure the min/max bonus to damage for the Ranger/Archer is completely useless for the first few levels.
After all 8% of 2 damage isn't even .2.
However, later on, that bonus damage translates into better average damage (Ranger) or a chance to do a really powerful max damage shot (Archer).
The best advantage of the Adventurer, as you may have noticed, is precisely the ability to be able to do anything its player so desires, thanks to the extra exp gains.
Your bow damage probably wouldn't be as efficient as mine, but I bet you could send me running home to mommy with everything else.

Yes, very good setup for your character. I myself have been raping the mobs several levels higher than myself (playing in a group makes it so much easier), bringing in plenty of experience in killing and trophies and gold .

exactly.
those i do group with, appreciate me, which is all that really matters.
half of what it is, is they view casters/healers as slightly inferior due to the fact that they arent usually DPs. so they cant do alot of damage. so if i were to say, wee, a crit for 32. someone says, thats nothing, i do a triple for 40s all the time.
however, i think most are starting to grasp the fact of different cl*** and specialties.
its just that, at this point, i would wager, about 70 to 75% of nodiatis is DPs. about 15% or so is tanks, and about 5 to 10% is casters/healers.

I see.
It's nice to be grouped with friends.
I joined this game through word of mouth from a friend, actually.
Well, my main is a Ranger, and I have a Priest as my alternate. Even though my Priest doesn't do a lot of damage, he has a lot of survivability.
I bet the mobs have a hard time keeping your health down.
And also, to break the trend of "White Magic only" archers/rangers, I'm planning to invest in Blue Magic as well (has a lot of neat effects).

My adventurer/archers use a combination of red, black, green, and white magic. Red and black for some added damage output, and green and white for healing.if you balance it out just right, you can end fights quicker, while at the same time not having to regen so much because you healed during the fight and looting especially.

wouldnt hurt to invest in blue magic to lvl 10 either. the mana healer is quite nice actually, if you do it right, you can have unlimited mana/energy during a fight, which means you can heal more, and spend less time regening at the end.
but, thats just my opinion.

Thanks for the tips guys!
I currently have White Magic on passive, waiting to get it to 8 to use the Thick Skin Aura gem. Afterwards, I'll start leveling Blue Magic.
@Hopilus: Hehe...yup, I noticed that mana heal gem. That's actually what sealed the deal for me to also invest in Blue.
