Default Portal Gems

Hey Jeff how about making some Portal Gems so higher lvls can avoid all the no experience kills between towns? These kills really eat into our RT. Just an idea for you to use or lose.

this was suggested before and we got the gate potions. i'm not sure but i don't think these will be implemented.

well, i thinks its not a half bad idea. especially when you are heading to t6, get there, and then need to go back to t1 for some reason. instead of spending god knows how long, you can sacrifice the adventuring points, in exchange for a quick leap to where you need to go. it would be up to the players discretion what they want to do.

I HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT NOW.

Jeff mentioned that having some sort of gem that serves partially as a placeholder in the pouch so that there are less chances of drawing empty spots and getting an escape in combat would be a good idea for an epic gem.

What about having some portal epic gems? You could have one for each town!

I would instead tie Portal Gems into White Magic for example lvl 10 White Magic allows teleport to T1, 15 T2 20 T3 25 T4 however the catch is each town must have been visited at least once in order to aquire the gem, once there you /Mark T1 or whatever town it happens to be and set a record point once done you can use that command and in turn it burns that gem for you and returns you to that town.

Gems should cost 500 Gold 50 Mana and 50 Energy etc etc, seems pretty simple to impliment it this way.

Jeff intends for you to actually have to walk to your destinations. It causes each town to have its own local market. So, if you want an item from another town, it actually has to be physically carried there. Teleporting will circumvent this entirely.

How about an epic potion instead of gem? Gems are supposed to be used in battle after all.
