Are archers underpowered in pvp.

i was rolling threw the skills and noticed some stuff. like, archers really only have attacking skills. suchs as poisen and more damage etc. but people such as shield users and 2handers can easily beat them. This is because the only defencive skill an archer has is kiting. and it seems like everyone else has more skills they can use(since almost all defence skills are for melee users, and none for archers)

shouldent they have some sort of skill that helps them for this. since if they are just going to deflect my attacks, then why raise my damage. cant i peirce there shield or weapon and still hit them with my attack (though with a less chance with a shield)

disscuss it here, and dont flame me cus i think they may be a underpowered. just tell me why i am wrong (if i am <.<)

Archers are in the same boat as Melee. Overskill everything in order to compete against other classes, and especially Casters.

as for a comparison to Pvp defense archery cant be parried so the only time a person stops an arrow is if they are a shield user

2handers can reflect it as well. up to a 25 percent chance to do so (but thats for any kind of attack other then dot magic).

Archers are totally underpowered in all aspects of the game.

You should make 5 more threads concerning this.

yea, but they are also faster and usally farther away. so if it was in that case we should start with a "far away" time shield/enemy attack delay, because we should be farther away from the enemys...(if archers really are not underpowered right now, i wish i suggested this when they were...lol i will do it anyway :P)

before you put purile replies in forums maybe you should know what your talking about just for once?

shield users are not the only ones to stop arrows beastmasters growl can stop any attack except dot

ever stopped and thought why there are so many archery threads?

its because we have a point our skills have been ignored and left behind sitting here quietly for a year now has got us nothing from glitchless. so now we want what it seems everyone else has got (except piercing there hard done by to)

skills we need some 40-80
blindness fixed this just doesn't work as intended needs to be a stun skill
a deffence other than kite a good idea or maybe a skill to enhance kite?
arrow rain another skill yet to be proven of any use and again no help to mobs

and as normal not one reply in any of these numerous threads from glitchless

anyway getting back to the point thanks fox i support

BMs are OP i have said that before so i didnt include them

i have several times supported a blinding arrow revamp but arrow rain will be useful in 3v3 arenas so it doesnt need to be changed

maybe you should learn to read glitchless posted in the most recent buff me pl0x thread saying its impossible to make a comparison of the two without taking every possible increase in DPS into account and every possible decrease in DPS so when u manage to do this incredibly complex simulation ill buy that u need a buff

anyway getting back to the point thanks fox i support
supporting anything just cause its about archery needing a buff...sounds like a typical "make the game easy on me nao jeff i dont like to work" person

and to restate something im sure u didnt read cause idt u know how ARCHERY ISNT UNDERPOWERED

i only mention this because i seem to always lose in pvp, even though i can beat red or so bosses. so i figured something is up with the pvp stuff. archers are good in pve but not in pvp,

Could it be your poor stats? Inspecting you doesnt give you any reason to ask for a buff. Get better then we can talk And if i could inspect your skills it would probaly be more evident why you lose.

yea i know about that, but i was not having any problems then. and even if my stats do suck, why can i beat red bosses but always lose in pvp.

oh, and because i did not reallyt feel like buying a new quiver, i disided i would just wait untill a ound one. and i did.

i can beat black ++ bosses and most people who build to be the best can beat at least black bosses so you beating red bosses means nothing about whether or not u should win....also PvE and PvP builds are different so a person who can solo a +20 boss couldnt always win in PvP
