Visual effects of hitting/magic hurt eyes!

Please, may this effects will be an option! This blinks really hurt eyes, all often blinks make negative effect on eyes. For example that is why some japanes cartoons are forbidden in europe, because often blinks in it, and it effect on children(even can be reason of epilepsy). Same for me: i can't play more then 40-50 mins, because i start feel discomfort in my eyes, it becomes red, and even eyes are watering. Maybe my eyes too sensive, but anyway this blinks are annoying and without it game don't loose anything.

Post on suggestions?

I vote for making all visual effects besides damage TOGGLEABLE, for people like this.

This user has a problem that many people are affected by all though it isn't that noticeable unless with a critical hit.
Some eyes are very active and our able to change like lightning on and off(cone wise)
I personally have fast on long(still very fast) off so I see the red on every hit and cast(purple there) for a fraction of a second and his can be very strenuous on the eyes
A monster attacks every 2.5 to 5 seconds with a random cast say once every 12 seconds it will cast a damage spell 25% of the time 25% would be a daze so that is a chance at another 2 with a 20%(he is a duel wielder) for a another flash for each of those flashes so in lets say over an hour like how long he plays before his eyes get sore.

I averaged out all the flash amounts. I am not including misses just yet

that is

210 flashes from daze hits
75 purple magic flashes
960 flashes from monster hits
in one hour a rather large IMHO group of cone cells will flash 1,245 times for less then a second. or once every 2.89 seconds
Give me one of your favorite shows I will edit it to flash for 0.1 seconds every 2.89 seconds and lets see how your eyes like that.

It should be able to be turned off since it can cause headaches and other problems
