On AH, Group Armor by Level
Instead of grouping Armor by Helm, Breast, Sleeve, Legging, and Shield, wouldn't it make more sense to group armor by Level of Suiting. Just hear me out on this one.
I am farming the 70's area for trophies and I keep getting armor drops for the 73 set. I would love to have people see that I have half of the set, and if someone was so inclined, I would make a deal for the whole set.
Anyone else believe this might be helpful?

I would like to see 'All Armor' and 'All Archery' added to the filter list. This would save a lot of time for someone shopping for a full set rather than having to open up 3 or 5 different pages.
Could be sorted by Level, then Item Type, then Price

Not sure if you remember the old AH, but i find the current one really useful. If i need a helm i don't need to check 10 pages with legs & sleeves & stuff, i just check the helmets section. It's also handy to compare stats on items that are for sale.
The only tweak I'd like to see is a submenu for resources: skins - ores - etc ... this would save some dataload as well imo.

Even better would be customizable query in addition to the existing setup... Click off a few checkboxes & hit submit to display items of <type> and/or <tier/level range> and/or <price range>.
I, for one, am rather tired of scrolling through pages upon pages of silks to see which cloths or leathers are up for sale. =/

Zenga, as an old man of Nod like you, I remember the old AH. I do not want that at all. However, if you were to break down armor - Say Levels 1-20, 20-40, 40-60, 60+, you wouldn't have to scroll through pages and pages IMO...
I agree as well to have a way to sort through the resources better. Or at least move the threads and silks to the back end with the cloth...

I would agree if the player based triples or so, but i can't remember that there were ever more than 2 pages with armor.
As we speak:
leggings = half a page
sleeves = half a page
chests = 1.5 pages
helmets = 1.5 pages
shields = 1.5 pages
I see right away if the leg is available that i want or not. If you would organize everything by rank and then by type i think it will become very messy.
Though what emperor says would work: we can set / save our preferences on how we like to see the AH.

1. We keep the AH's format.
2. We add extra categories: full armor sets, full archery sets, etc.
3. Expand the tradeskill resources category into skins/leather, ore/ingots, silk/thread, etc.
Kind of just used what was already here and expanded on it.

Yeah, I think a toggleable option like right-click > list armour by type / list armour by level would be nice. Instead of having to open helmet, chestpiece, sleeve and legging windows separately when upgrading armour you could sort it all on one screen. Maybe another (or a submenu on AH) to list armour from lvl 1-10, 11-20, 21-30, etc. to reduce the number of screens you have to scroll through.
And I very much agree that a submenu on AH to browse resources by type would be awesome. I expect there are a few clothmakers who'd agree.
