Resourcefulness skills

Being new to the game I have ventured into the unknown world of skills in resourcefulness and chosen hunter. I buy a bow, quiver and an arrow go out kill some mongoose and wonder ok what now? I spam the civil channel about my problem and no answer so I sell the mongoose to the store and wonder is that it to this skill. I check the forums and found no guides. So i go back to spamming civil again and sombody told me i need to make hides from the mongoose, to make a long story short where are the guides for the resourcefulness skills, tools needed to create what items and what do i do with the items? Are there more tools i need to further advance the items i create? without spending 4+ hours reading 30+ pages in the forums to find nothing someone please tell me there is a solution to this or should i continue to spam the channels for questionable answers?

I've read all three links and not once did I read anything about after stretching hides you need to apply oil,
"These range from simple tools that you use to scale fish or skin animals to slightly more complicated tools that require you use the tool and place a few items in the tool slots to combine them into something new. "
In game there are no oils sold in the stores nor in the Auction House.

I know you can get oils by dismantling some items like hides, armour, etc. You can also probably buy them from auction or trade for them but you would need a paid account to do that.

I pulled this form the first post in the first link i sent you

"Animal Carcasses (from hunting)/Skins/Leather

Animals are hunted using any type of bow/arrow (the 'Inn' in any town).
Skins are made with a Skinning Blade (T2), and 1 carcass. Requires Hunting skill.
Leather is made with a Hide Stretcher (T1), 2 skins, and the equivalent level of oil. Requires Leatherworking skill."

One reason you get no help is because you SPAM. No one likes a spammer, besides if you google help, you will get tons of pages with loads of help. I myself have done it to find what I need.

Sorry that was me being a noob. I know I dismantled some armour and got something but I couldn't remember if it was oil or not.
