k, so clarification. I have 2 teams that are at the top of arena. Tsutsu/Excellence/Freaky and Kainith/Frisky/Algamisu. If Alga were to log kainith or frisky, would we no longer be able to fight his other toons on the TsuTsu/Excellence/Freaky team?

As long as Alga never logged TsuTsu, Excellence, or Freaky, then those chars can fight any of Alga's chars. Assuming of course that TsuTsu, Excellence, and Freaky have also never logged any of those of Alga's chars.

For the average nodder, who has 1-3 toons this probably isn't bad at all , but if you're someone who has a league of toonsitters, and owns dozens or more toons, you would have to be extra cautious about them queuing at all at this point, this may even discourage sitters from arenaing at all anymore, which is good and bad for reasons.
However, my question in regards to it is, if you give a toon to a friend, and you haven't been playing that toon for months, or even years. and you get paired against them in arena, on one of your alts does it still set off this 'boosting / fixing' siren, that is used to catch the people doing this? Is the IP address thingy for arena time-based? ....
Say for example, I sit for a friend that quits the game for 6 months, or 1 year or whatever, he logs on one day, just starts queueing like a mofo from his IP address, and i get paired to him on one of my main toons,... since that toon was used mostly on my ip address for the season, would that set off a red-flag for me, and potentially get me banned?
If it were to happen, would the best course of action be to force a draw, message the friend and be like ' let me know when you are done queuing plox', and just not queue until they logged out? Should we email Glitchless directly in regards to if an original owner of a toon comes back, and we have been sitting for them for long periods of time, to ensure not getting banned? ...
I personally would hate to do thousands of matches on my toon, and a friends toon. then that friend comes back, from a long hiatus or something, queues, then I log on one day, and POOF all tokens/rating gone, and ban for year.
To prevent the said issues from happening, will players just ultimately say no to arenaing on toons that aren't theirs? it used to be pretty cut and dry , where you just queued, to queue to get bonus, and go start farming or w/e , but if this can easily screw over people who have dozens of toons, then this may possibly end up making arena, even more dead, in terms of having teams to fight. Queuing around Reboot time (a few hours before, or after... Euro time basically)... is still a nightmare because of the same 3 teams, and 10 minute queues around that time, it's horrendous.
We've seen a lot of changes to arena the past year, I hope the formula is perfected soon in terms of being able to run the matchmaking at its finest. many games struggle to achieve that perfect balance, especially MOBA's, but i'm noticing now splits. on an unrelated note, 2v2 arena with bifurcated aura's that split an even 50% would be interesting... anywho! enough of my rant, thanks for reading :P
