Reverse auction
Say I want to buy a resource that is not listed on ah and I cant find by advertising in chat. With this idea, I could then set a bid (say 16 t20 dye for 2k each) and it stays listed in the 'new' auction page.
As long as I have the gold, my offer stays up and when someone that is looking to sell comes in and sees the bid, he can then accept having the item in storage.
On the other hand, if I have some items sitting in storage, I can browse this auction to see if anyone is interested in buying. Can be quite useful for buying items that usually are sold for social and resources. Also very interesting for trophy buying/selling, when I can just go and close the deal even if the toon is not around - as long sa he posted the bid and has enough gold and storage on him.
Would also be fair to be able to pick the towns you'd accept the item.
Any tweaks needed to have a solid system are welcome and so are feedbacks

I also support. Would make it so people don't need to spam civil ever 5 seconds saying ltb t30 xxx or w/e
Think it was suggested before a while back iirc but hopefully it gets implemented this time

This suggestion is the happiness of trolls.
For example/ Looking to buy t30 x 4 and each of the four accidentally are in Draak, Andol, Roggork and Dreval.

Great idea in theory but would make it very easy for someone to get a strangle-hold on a market. Set up to buy any TC under 1.x mil, every dust under xxxk, every dye under xxxk, go afk, come back later and resell. Repeat every day. You know what nodders are like, they'd be all over this.
There is also the prioritisation issue...if two people are both set-up to auto-buy, who gets priority? First person to set up? Person who's paying more? You could set a buy up and go a week without getting what you need cos other people are undercutting, outbidding or setting up earlier in the day just due to time zones.
As I said, in theory it's great but in reality it might make it harder to get what you need, rather than easier.

Good points.
But don't think it'd work quite like that. I may be misunderstanding but from what I unserstand
It doesn't autobuy. It just puts it there and for prioritization thing a player prolly clicks to confirm selling to them. Example:
*blaze sets bid for 4 t30 berries @ 150k each*
*ipoophard is looking to sell t30 berries. Opens auction house goes to bid section to look at offers. Clicks blaze's offer. Clicks to confirm sell* or some such. This would resolve prioritization. As for a stranglehold would come down to if everyone chooses to sell to that 1 guy. Possibility does exist still but since it's manual he could just have bought himself if he was there.

I meant it like king explained: say you want to sell a tc, see someone has an offer to buy one for 1.4k and you're ok with that price. you then click on its offer and select 'sell 1' like we now do for buying.
Also, I dont understand what you meant with the monopoly: if I want to buy a t30 dye for 300k and someone undercuts me with an offer of 290k, the seller would choose the 300k offer - at least I would - so I don't see undercuting as an issue here, since higher offers are better for the one selling
