Rating gains in solo arena

Just wonder if rating gains in solo arena depend on the colour of your opponent too and not only the difference in the achieved rating of both opponents.

Well, for sure rating wins do not depend on rating of opponent and your own rating alone.

Have got 2 rating form matches against big guns which are far behind in rating, getting lees than 1 from chars just behind me.

I recall something about rating gain depending on win streak and stuff like that......not quite sure how it worked tho.

So last time i will mention this.

Is it intended to get 0.899 rating gain, if you are 11 positions and more than 100 rating behind arena opponent?

If so ok, nothing i can do about.

It depends on both of your hidden ratings. The person you beat be on a losing streak, and his hidden rating would be much lower than his visual rating, thus he would not be worth much to win against. And if you have lost any matches to low rated people, your hidden rating will be below your visual rating, which will penalize your gains until it catches up again.

It is not likely we'll use the hidden rating system again except in the case of the solo queue 3v3 seasons.
