EDIT: Since the lag started, I have been occasionally experiencing problem number 1, only maybe twice for 10-20 minutes have I experienced anything like problem number 2. I usually just left Nod for a while when they happened so can't give a precise timeline.

A lot of people lagged out in the problem that Enduir mentioned. Looked like a server reboot (but nobody got RRT). Also a number of people couldn't log back in for 2-3 minutes after lagging out.

There are two problems right now.

Problem #1: Some people are having occasional lag spikes, or significant periods of time where they lose connectivity to the server, but are otherwise experiencing no lag at all.

Problem #2: A small minority of people are reporting constant connectivity issues, where their every action is delayed and the game is virtually unplayable.

Even if you don't know how to do a tracert, it would be very beneficial if you could say in this thread saying which of those two categories you are in. And if you are not posting from the computer that you are having those issues from, tell us the IP that you are connecting from that has the issue (http://www.whatismyip.com/) We are compiling a list of locations based on IP addresses to help our datacenter locate this issue.

Neither problem is being caused by the server, as it is not at any point using over 20% of any resource, not bandwidth, not CPU, not RAM, not HD, not anything. This may seem confusing to some people who point out that they and everyone else lose connectivity at the same time, and that they can still do things on other websites at that time, but if the problem exists at a point in the network where all those people are connecting through, it will have that same effect.

Not usually that bad I don't think, except after the lag spikes.

I fall under this category, although it appears to happen with every website rather than nod only. Sometimes its faster than the last time, have yet to see a pattern with it though. I don't have my browsers bulked up with add-ons (except no-script on ff), so I highly doubt its on my end. Other than my internet browsers, laptop is still running like a champ and is clean according to avast.

I get this occasionally too, webpages are very slow to load or will half load/fail to load, a DNS flush usually sorts me out.

Glitch, my lag came back starting yesterday. It is constant lag making the game very slow.
