Paid Reroll Add-on/Option?

If you have just rerolled recently and want to take advantage of this then simply reroll again. The counter starts at 0 as of now regardless of how many times a character has already rerolled. Anyone can take advantage of this so don't whine that other people are having fun - just do it yourself!

This is what I came to the forums to find after I rerolled for my third time in order to gain more quest XP for my learning skills.
I clearly didn't read every single line of the rerolling guide after I searched for it the first time and ventured into the sport of rerolling. I am now stuck in a spot that I really hadn't hoped for. I started my character on 1/15/2014.
You see, upon the eve of my first reroll, I wasn't experienced enough to understand the importance of level 40+ skills or things that would become available to me under the Learning Skills tab. When I first rerolled, I was level 26 and had 260 million XP. I thought I had a ton of XP and was going to parlay that soft cap that I had reached and bought trophies to max out my reroll's potential into 10x that cap by devoting the boon experience to stat skills only. I did that and jumped to 2.6 billion xp and level 65 with trophy skills learned at 65 or higher. Last reroll, I got all the way up to my current cap at just shy of 30 billion XP and level 85. I even skipped some quests throughout the process because of accidentally putting Recovery on active and XP rushing to gain 25 levels... only 12 of which I could delevel which put me out of range of a few collection quests that were now gray to me. On this reroll that I'm doing now is where I found out how seriously I had screwed up. Little did I know that I had seriously gimped my overall progress in Learning Skills due to the quest limitations... This initial oversight has a massive significance in the progress of my character in comparison to where I thought I was headed. Anyone online these last few months can tell you that I'm pretty gung-ho Nod and enjoy the crap out of the game, but this has really put a damper on my enjoyment.

NEW OPTION: Paid Reroll
A Paid Reroll costs 5 TCs and allows you to keep all the items in your inventory and storage. You will need to completely empty your equipment and pouches before you do this to help minimize foolish mistakes.

My simple suggestion is this. Let people pay to reset their quests. More money to help the development of the game and less time restrictions to becoming competitive for new players if they're willing to fork over the cash.
The current dependence upon the forums for information is, in my opinion, a bug in the user experience with regards to the more nuanced rules of the game that aren't clearly and explicitly expressed in the java applet.
The thought of having to passively level all my learning skills is wavering my dedication to the game. Sad, but honest.

Isn't there a way to do missed collection quests by grouping with a low level player? If they get the drops while you're grouped with them you still get quest credit.

If they are grey to you they become grey to a lower lvl so u cant have cap toon pl a lvl 24 in skellie and that 24 still get exp or trophs.
On a more positive note, with 30 bil exp and tripple speed learnings on boon you can very quickly catch up your learnings...i have not done many quests myself but have all but 1 learning skill between 95 and 100. And then there is the fact that you still have all the hig lvl quests to get learnings up if you didnt do them already. Dont be discouraged, if you built a 30 bil toon in less than 3 months I can guarantee you will be a force to be reckoned with by all the top toons in nod in the space of a few months. I know i sure couldnt have done what u did.

Onenangel has it right, your partner in the same square gets no loot, xp, or gold chests because you are fighting a gray mob...
Any thoughts on my suggestion?
Thanks,

I agree that there needs to be some type of easy to see notice for new players that they only get 2 quest resets through rerolls, seeing as how many people pick one class, thinking it would be fun, only to find out it doesn't fit their play style, or they hear about the wonderful life of boon, and reroll immediately, only to learn later they rerolled too early.
Given, what OA has said is very true...boon works wonders for learning skills, provided you stay on boon. The other side of that though, is learnings aren't supposed to be, "OMG i paid a lot over 2 months, I want all 100s," they are supposed to help you more and more as time goes on...and it is a small incentive to keep playing, as those of us who have been around the longest have better learnings in general.
Basically, in your situation, just be smart with the rest of your boon, focus on certain skills that help the most(to 99/100), and let your x9 learnings(prem/boon) go to work. Getting them all 85ish(+learning xp ones ~89 first) should be plenty...the 85-100 isn't quite as important...and definitely not a deal breaker. Those will take a while anyways, boon/quests or not

I forgot to mention that I really enjoyed doing the quests. It was a reason to move on to the next zone when finished and gave me a lot of direction. Surely it would help people from farming the same 10-15 squares depending on level range and over-skilling...
Food for thought, I guess...

We're not against it, but we don't want to create a scenario where people are repeatedly doing paid rerolls to farm quests. If the value of it is too great, it will cause TC prices to skyrocket as people use that as the preferred method to convert TCs to gold instead of selling them directly to other players. At the 5 TC pricepoint it's probably far too cheap.
