It's happened in the past as well, when we deem a player mistake to be made that was caused by something confusing in the game--confusing enough to be patched and changed--the person generally gets a reimbursement. The whining about this is over the top and pointless.

I will say that when I was confused about leaving q and leaving arena team and accidently left team you told me to deal with it... then made a patch making us LEAVE team write out.. and there are other examples as well. I understand why everyone is upset, but I still advise them to all SHHHHHHHHH because I know that your ban hammer hurts

Because that same message was popping up erroneously when items were being bought that weren't being soulbound. Following that pattern, it is rather clear how one could be confused.

You are kidding right? so the LG's that were suppose to be "CAP ONLY" or "EXTREMLEY HARD TO GET BY OTHER PLAYERS" can now just be treated like crap? Would have been easier to change the message when buying LG's from other stores, OR even damn better to KEEP LG SOULBOUND like you initially made them! not to turn around at the whim of one player's STUPID MISTAKE and adapt the game to their whims... screw this!

iirc, and correct me if im wrong here.

the original idea of making all the store bought LG was so that people had to work for them, and travel to get them. They couldnt just go buy em and then trade em to an alt, that cant physically travel there to get the LG.

The fact that you have changed this now, after an idiot has complained that they bought LG, for their alt, is just bull**** imo.

The compenstation wasnt needed, as it was bought for an alt, all that was needed, was traded for a non SB 1 if you felt it was necessary.

5 TC reward wasnt needed, as it wasnt a bug, there was no exploit. it was purely and simply their mistake as they chose not to read a pop up warning that you had put into place for this reason alone.

Sorry if ive said anything out of turn, i didnt mean to offend you or the company, but i myself, can not see a justifable reason for this happening.

Actually it wasn't "you" who did cause the change it was Neco. An honest player who doesn't mass share but nice try.

But many have made the mistake of leaving arena team before it happened.



He decided to change this becuase this happened, deal with it.. crying and harassing the creator for making a choice isn't going to get you anything but bad "karma"..

That is clearly whats going on. The 5 TCs were uncalled for, but daer's post said it was for all the complaints (and probably harassment) about the reimbursement.. I wasnt around so I cant confirm that, but, if thats case, sounds fair enough.

As for other such as bumper and killgore, they knew what they were going through paying twice for having an item at a lower lvl, they've chosen that, while in MoT's case it was a game message that mislead into that happening, so reimbursing was the correct call from how I see it.

I'm seconding this because game messages have made me lose some TCs in the past for a incorrect confirmation message from referal, so I support it and like when Glitchless takes responsability for such events.

That doesn't show anything since you could unsoulbind legendaries prior to your little whine. Just most people knew and had the capacity to read that if the store has an infinite amount of the lg you are unsubing (strig and regulus in fa'ar; opal and deatheater in andol) you couldn't do it at that specific town. People generally went to a deserted town like t3 to unsub things so no one else had a chance to buy it.
