As was already explained, the person who got rewarded in this case being complained about in this thread did so because there was actually was a message popping up erroneously when items were being bought that weren't being soulbound. Following that pattern, it is rather clear how one could be confused. Our policy is that we do not refund player mistakes, and we've been rather consistent in that regard.
