Also an option to unignore ALL names on the list could be handy...
...since I think that most of them that are putted there is only "active" in chat for a very short time...

could be worse GW only let me have 10 and i really needed more there. thought i agree there shouldnt be a limit, or possibly an easier way to remove people from it to free up space for others

You dont see all names in private chat... need to turn on floating to see them all...

Yes, like you Nemi, I believe that most people on ignore lists become inactive after a short period of time. And most people that continue to play realize that it's much harder to play if you are on many peoples ignore list, so they stop being as childish.
A button to click that will take everyone off your ignore list is a good idea.
