Crafting/Artistry
I have been looking at all the suggestions over the years for increasing the capacity to craft/artistry multiple stacks at a time.
What if Jeff introduced a new skill something along the lines of the following
Craft/Artistry Expertise (probaly lvl 40-60 skill)
Every 10 points in this skill allows the production of an extra set of items but with an exp penalty 9.5% to base exp, this skill only works on resources items.
This should allow at max skill 10 stacks be created but with 95% exp penalty. similar to the way the EXP penalty works for other stats and skills over your level. This will not double the exp then take the 9.5%, you will not gain additional exp for multiple stack but works on the exp for 1 stack. Also prevent people trying to create 10 weapons/armour at one go.
The skill can be put in both Craft/Artistry sections so you would have to rasie both and not just 1 skill to gain the benefits of it.
Now before you go on about the exploit of not having to use the Mana/Energy for multiple stack I thought about that as well.
Craft/Artistry Mastery (lvl 80 skill)
Every 10 points in this skill reduces the Mana/Energy requirement for multiple stacks 5% to a max of 50%
or something along those lines. anyways you get my meaning from it.

Flash has some good suggestions there, but my personal preference for this would be that you can only craft multiple items if your skill is say +10 past the point where the crafting is considered trivial. I totally oppose multicrafting of anything you gain active exp from.
To avoid exploitation by one person being able to multicraft dyes for half of Nod in 3 minutes then trading back for auctioning, IMO multicrafted items should be SB. And not 'sell-to-store-to-un-SB' SB. These SB items should have a value of zero, and be treated like SB TCs used to be. This ensures that people can only either use the items on the toon who created them, or trade to alts since crafting/artistry skills are restricted.
Having a free for all style of multicrafting is a bad idea I think. Unless I'm stocking for myself, I generally don't loot resources under t16 or so because they're not worth it to craft (t1 sometimes being the exception). If I can craft 100 t1 dyes in a heartbeat, I'm going to flood AH on my own in a day. Low resource prices will plummet, and low level crafters will suffer.

Very good point about flooding low lvl market...I now agree with the sb addition.

if u read properly you would only be able to do multiple stacks to a max of 10, the cost would be 10 times the Eng/mana needed but only get 5% the exp. the extra cost in mana/eng would be a lvl 80 skill so I dont think people be flooding the market as much as you think they will.
I reckon people might be able to do small stack at one go, but as for making them all SB then there would be no real point in introducing this. As I for one wouldn't want to create a stack that i couldn't sell.
TO help with this exploit as you say, maybe they could be SB if crafted with travel mode on and UnSB with it off. Also the time could be increased for each multiple stack eg.
1 stack takes 4secs then a stack of 10 would take 40secs. this could be combined with the mastery skill to reduce this time by 50% max as well as the eng/mana.
This request has been on the go since the first few weeks of Nod. Jeff I am sure has been pondering this for a long time. I think he really need to say a definite YES/NO/MAYBE to this so people can forget about it altogether and continue on their merry way

further to the exxp from multiple crafting, it works on the base exp for 1 craft eg
1 craft gives 1k exp
2 craft gives 905 exp
10 craft would give 50exp
the more you craft the less you get. as i said it wont be 2 craft gives 2k exp less the 9.5% also this would be a lvl 40-60 or could even be a lvl 80 skill to avoid abuse

I see your point, though my view is that this should be a way to promote crafting in general, so I'd prefer if it was geared towards people who want to use large numbers of processed items themselves, i.e. me. :{

There's definite merit to this idea, but I'm a little torn. I barely craft and definitely understand where the posters are coming from, but I also feel that those masochistic types that can find fun in the tedious single crafting should continue to be rewarded for it.
