Customizable gem bar

Big change I know, but this is just something I was thinking about while trying to figure out how to maximize my efficiency for faster kills. Here's the proposal:

Make it so we can designate which slot is an aura slot, which slot is the first slot to immediately pull a gem, and which 2 are the other ones.

Why? Because as a caster (I'll let other weapon types speak for themselves if they like the idea, I'm no expert on a piercer or archer's gems) I hit autoattack and have to come all the way over to the right of the bar (on a touchpad that's a huge loss in kill speed) just to hit my opening shot, then perhaps hit whatever gems i have on the left. It would be far more efficient to have the gem you want to hit first right above autoattack.

Another big thing is auras. I want my auras to stay up, i'm sure most people do too or they wouldn't have those auras there at all right? Problem is those aura slots are the slots right above the gem draw slot. So for maximum efficiency, those are the slots you want to pull your gems to and hit them. It would really be great if we could move those slots around so we'd have an open slot to pull gems to quickly.

i support this, would be nice to be a premium only upgrade, simply cause they have access to the entire 6 gem slots.

as a piercer that uses DoTs, and dif auras, i can sympathize with what daer is saying in regards to wanting the gems directly above, and ive wiped auras before by accident just to get the faster DPS from my DoTs

cant be, im sure when you talk you hear more idiotic things.

if this suggestion were to be implemented it would purely make the interface more open to players whims, which would make it easier to use, and for alot of people, like san saying he had carpel tunnel, this would reduce the need for that, it would also make it laptop friendly

btw maybe it be easier just to ask to move the attk icons and gem draw slots like reverse the bottom row of interface that would put the gem draw slot under the 5th and 6th slots and attk near the first gem

which would have the same effect as this suggestion.

this would only allow casters to make better use of their gems, the same as anyone else, it would mean that they can put them in play faster, same as for a tank with taunts, as they dont need to move the gem as far. thats all it does.

yes but for ease of implemintation i think it would be easier for glith to add a toggle to reverse the bootm row then make aura slots etc customizable
im not trying to troll here just saying casters dont need easier access to gems for farming they can already kill fast enough to get the message u cant open chest etc

ok, let's consider moving the bottom row...FAIL. I can still click attack, and either of my ca's while blinded because i've memorized the places to click. reverse that and you pretty much toss that out the window.

there is nothing wrong with the way it is implemented atm, i'm with devil... i still know where to click when blinded and have no problem with bringing gems up either

System is fine how it is, but a mouse for your laptop if its that big of an issue..
