Default DoT duration/stacking indicator

I'd like to see some sort of an indicator for DoT spells to show how much longer they will last. I'm thinking something like the 'clock-face' effect that currently is used to show the delay on recastable gems and other combat buttons. Also some way to tell how many times the DoT is stacked would be nice, even just a number in the middle of the status icon that counts up as the effects begin to stack.

Then once it was stacked up a few times, there could either be multiple 'clock-face' type things going - or - just one for the iteration that will run out the soonest, and then switch to the next one's timer and decrement the stack counter when the first runs out.

Any thoughts?

When a DoT stacks onto another, the duration refreshes (New DoT) and the remaining damage adds to the new DoT damage.

So if you got 13 damage left to do on the current DoT, stacking another DoT for 25 damage over 40 sec will become 38 damage over 40 sec.

So Instead of showing the number of Stacks, since DoTs stack indefinitely, better to just show the damage remaining in the center, and the time with the Clockface effect.

Oh, i didn't realize that's how the stacking worked. Good to know, though; you learn something new every day.

I like what you're saying, though with showing the remaining damage, and then the clockface could still work, just restarting whenever another one stacks
