So here's the thing. Mistakes like its vs it's are extremely, extremely basic English gaffes. These are things that should have been learned in the early years of grade school, and the distinction is so simple, it's embarrassing when someone gets it wrong.


If people (in the US at least) were to go around calling a pistol a rifle, or a Daewoo a truck, would you correct them? Almost certainly.

'Words' is plural so I would use 'are' not 'is', unless you're only discussing 'sped' again. If so, please specify.

Punctuation. The whole thing is a run-on sentence. Actually it's a run-on paragraph.
