None of you have bothered to ask her, despite the fact that many of you have the ability to contact her outside of Nod. If I were her, I wouldn't bother to defend myself either. Every person hating on her in this thread is 100% determined to hate her, doesn't matter what anyone says, there would be no point in her defending herself. And she had already pretty much quit Nod before this whole stupid thing came out anyway.

Why is this thread not locked down? It's an obvious hate thread. If she made a legit report to Glitch (I can't say either way and i really don't give a crap) then why is Glitch doing nothing to stop the abuse towards her? Kinda gives off the idea that he doesn't want people to bother him with reports...

I talked to her. I asked her when did I say I exploited that, she couldnt answer me. I asked her why she put my name in their, she said trojan and ld told her. She didnt have much to say about it or didnt want to talk to me about it idk. but I wasnt rude to her when I pmed her. I gave her a chance to explain it. So daer she didnt tell me why she put all those names in when they all were inaccurate.

So stop talking about her side of it because she had every chance to tell it.

Hmmmm, I received a message from Hop yesterday saying she didn't write the e-mail and only found out about it 2 days ago (3 now, depending when she sent the message. I was off line for the weekend).
I'm trying to make sense of all this but there is so many conflicting stories.

And allowing the player base to so effectively and hatefully convince people (who did the right thing by emailing rather than posting in the forums) to not report exploits is bad for business.

You might be right and I honestly think there are other salient reasons to lock or delete this - at this point the main reason is just to move on from drama and negativity, the damage is done.

I'm just pointing out that the initial act of reporting wasn't the catalyst of this and in general people shouldn't be discouraged from doing so in the future as some are suggesting.

tbh, you can drop any name you want to glitchless, he's not going to just take your word for it though. I haven't read through these last 8 pages of drivvel to see if someone was banned because of this, but rest assured: if someone is banned, it's because they were caught doing whatever the email or post brought attention to, NOT because of the person who wrote the email.

Lessons to be learned from this thread:

Do: Report potential exploits with good explanations and examples and get big TC rewards if they're deemed worthy. This one was very worthy since it involved gold generation and there was incentive for the issue to be used rather than reported.

Dp: Turn off shared bliss before getting your TC reward and remain anonymous. We won't reveal your identity unless for some reason you want us to.

Do or Do Not: Name names. In this case we didn't even check to see who was using this exploit because we did not decide it was a punishable exploit, just a means of creating gold beyond what was intended for the game. And if it was a punishable offense we would check the records to confirm any named players were actually taking part in the exploit. There's no harm in reporting the people who you think might be doing it - if they're not they won't get in trouble.

Do Not: Show people your report especially when said people were or know people who were named in your report.
